Today’s gospel acclamation from the First Letter of St. John (2:5) reminds us that “Whoever keeps the word of Christ, the love of God is truly perfected in him.” In her life, St. Monica embodied this truth by remaining steadfast in love and constant in prayer for the conversion of her son, Augustine, who would later become a great saint and doctor of the Church. Her perseverance shows us the power of faith-filled love within the covenant of God.
In honor of St. Monica, we lift high in prayer all mothers who are faithfully raising their children, especially those facing struggles with difficult circumstances. We ask God’s blessing upon children who are already walking in the light, and we pray that those who are wandering may, through the patient love of their parents and the grace of God, be transformed into instruments of His glory. Amen.

But for the grace of God, many of us would have been worse than “prodigal.”
We are saved by His Grace.
Glory be to His Name forever!
Amen !!! Thank you Lord for all the graces and blessings you give us everyday 🙏🙏
